Throughout these last few months, many of the KSV students participated in the annual inter-school cultural activities competitions, Pratibha Karangi. For these competitions, there are three levels: the Cluster Level, the Taluka Level, and finally the District Level.
At the first stage, the Cluster Level, sixteen schools were competing. From KSV, forty-three students took part, and we entered forty events. The students achieved fifteen 1st places, twelve 2nd places and four 3rd places. Those who came first progressed to the next round.
At the Taluka Level, we entered fifteen events, and the students who achieved three 1st places then progressed to the next round. At the final stage, the District Level, two students represented KSV for three events: Pooja Dyabimath - Light Music Pooja Dyabimath - Mono-acting Kaveri Karigar - Light Music We are extremely proud of Pooja and Kaveri, of all their achievements, and to have reached this stage of Pratibha Karangi where they represented KSV. We are especially proud of Kaveri because at the District Level she again achieved first place! Congratulation to both of them, and their teachers & mentors. |

Inter-Schools Sports Competition |

Another competition that has be running these past few months has been the inter-school sports competitions. For these competitions, there are four levels: Cluster Level, Zonal Level, Taluka Level and the District Level. For the first level, the Cluster Level, our students participated in fifteen events, and they secured eight 1st places, four 2nd places and three 3rd places. Those who came first and second progressed to the next round.
At the Zonal Level, we entered twelve events. One student, Nagweni Peergar, who participated in three events: 100M, 200m and the shot-put, achieved 1st place in the 100m.
Nagweni progressed to the Taluka level where she again secured 1st place in the 100m which allowed her to progress to the District Level. It is a great achievement from Nagweni to get this far in the competition and to represent KSV at the District Level. She achieved a 4th place and all of us at KSV are extremely proud of her success. |
